br> The First Track/Movement of mine I will describe is “Spoonerism”. The word “spoonerism” is described as an unexplainable interchange of sound, usually identical sounds in two or more words. The idea regenerates inside the flip-flop, visa-versa, a continuum, a paradox that breaths , eternal timeless movement, the figure 8 and the circle Rupert’ Beer, Buperts Rear, layered on top of each other, create a spoonerism. Sound modulation controlled by dexterous turntablism which is placed primarily through the whole entire structure of “Spoonerism”. The beat, the melody the form, are entered with turntable sound manipulation into sequencing, compression and then layer upon layer until volume, and strength, is at the desirable amount . I used an old Bloopers record which I picked up at a Flea Market called the Golden Nugget, in Lambertville, NJ. Most of the records used in the production and arranging of this piece are Golden Nuggets. I incorporated other records as well, generally with the primary effect on them a digital simulation of a Tape Echo. Rhythmic placement sound diction, dissection, pitch bend, all in real time recording, with my Tech 1200. Pearl Bailey’s ” Summertime” is incorporated as a ghostly harmonic touch. I inserted vocal tracks from record takes of two writers. My brother Jonathan Arico who says “Solar System”, and Joe Baggly who says “Don’t Mind”(which is a short paraphrase of what is said, because of information that fallows.) Because of the effects on the vocals the conclusion will be created from the listeners imagination. The Sub Bass is a layered 808 sound that moves bold with immense supremacy and force. Eardrum and chest hitting pressure with a hoping beat Looped by overlapping turntable cuts.
